Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Sign-Ups

Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten (TK) sign-ups are going on now for the 2014-15 school year!! Sign-ups are taking place at Skyblue beginning at 8:30am this entire week. Please bring all necessary documents (original birth certificate, immunizations record & two forms of proof of residency (utility bills)!!

First Grade Patriotic Performance

Just a reminder for our First Grade Families...the First Graders of Skyblue Mesa are performing their Patriotic Show TONIGHT, February 25th at 6pm in the MPR! DVD's of the performance will be sold at the event for $10 if you haven't pre-ordered one already. See you there!!

Baja Fresh & Coldstone Creamery Restaurant Night

Coldstone Fundraiser

To go along with Skyblue's Baja Fresh Restaurant Night, our school has also teamed up with Coldstone Creamery located at 18740 Soledad Canyon Rd. Baja Fresh Restaurant Night

Skyblue Mesa is having a restaurant night at Baja Fresh on Tuesday, February 25th!!
When you come into Baja Fresh located at 18744 Soledad Canyon Rd. between 5:00pm-10:00pm, Baja Fresh will donate 15% of the proceeds to our school!!  Please bring the flyer with you!!!!

Creative Arts Fair 2014

The Creative Arts Fair is coming SOON!
The theme for 2014 is "UNDER THE SEA"
The categories this year are drawing or painting, poetry, photography and mixed media...students may choose to participate in one or all categories under his/her grade level.
Information and Registration/Entry Forms went home today with your child...please encourage them to participate!!
Entry forms are due on Friday, March 7th, Entries are due on Tuesday, March 25th and all of the students' artwork will be displayed at Open House on Thursday, March 27th!
We are looking forward to seeing all of our creative students' masterpieces!!

Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Round-Up Week for 2014-15 pre-registration begins
NEXT WEEK:
Monday, February 24 - Friday, February 28 (enrollment forms are accepted throughout the year)

Age Requirements:

• Kindergarten Entry- Children that turn 5 by September 1
• Transitional Kindergarten Entry- Children that turn 5 between September 1 and December 2

The following information is required to complete registration:

• Original birth certificate provided by the County Registrar/County Recorder or passport
• Verification of immunizations (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (DTP), polio (OPV or IPV), measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), hepatitis B, varicella (chickenpox)
• Dental screening (forms will be available at time of registration)
• Proof of residency (2 original items, such as utility bills (cell phone bills not accepted), lease/escrow/rental papers, property tax payment receipts)

First Grade Patriotic Performance

The program will be videotaped and available for purchase for $10/DVD.
A DVD order form will be going home with your child this week...

Box Tops

CONGRATULATIONS TO........Mrs. Egar's 3rd/4th grade class and Mrs. Pongracz's Kindergarten class for earning the title of the top classes for turning in the most Box Tops this last quarter!!  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!  They had a great time at their Bingo Party today!  Please keep clipping those Box Tops...each one counts and earns much needed money for Skyblue!!

Valet

Skyblue Mesa is in GREAT need of a parent volunteer to help supervise our Student Valet Program on Tuesday mornings from 7:30am-8:00am beginning ASAP!!  It's a really fun way to get your morning started!!  Thanks so much for your support!!

Pennies For Patients

Thursday, February 13th is the LAST day to turn in your money for the Pennies For Patients Program!!  Skyblue Mesa is so proud of our students for working so hard to donate to this wonderful charity.  It's so important to make a difference, and Skyblue is doing just that!  Great job, Superstars!!
